2026 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient: Karen Kingsbury
American Christian Fiction Writers is pleased to announce that #1 New York Times bestselling novelist Karen Kingsbury will be honored with the prestigious 2026 ACFW Lifetime Achievement Award. This award, which recognizes the pinnacle of excellence in Christian fiction, will be presented on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. Karen will also be giving a special address at the conference lunch on Saturday.
Karen Kingsbury, renowned as America’s most beloved inspirational storyteller, has authored over twenty-five million copies of her award-winning books. Her most recent dozen titles have consistently topped bestseller lists, and numerous of her novels are currently in development as major motion pictures. Recently, Karen established her own film production company, Karen Kingsbury Productions. The company’s inaugural theatrical release, ‘Someone Like You,’ had a successful release in 2024. Additionally, The Baxters television series, based on Karen’s Baxter Family books, is currently available on Prime Video and ranks among the network’s most popular series.
