The Wolf of Tebron tells of Joran’s perilous dream journey to the ends of the earth in search of his wife, Charris. He travels with Ruyah, his wolf companion, to the dwelling places of the Moon, Sun, and Wind. Along the way, Joran is faced with the truth about himself and where he really comes from.

The Wolf of Tebron is an engaging story in an enchanting fantasy world.

I loved C.S. Lakin’s sweeping descriptions of the metaphorical lands Joran travels to and the endearing characters such as wise Ruyah, the wolf, Cille, the Moon’s peculiar sister, and nurturing Sola, the Sun’s mother. All this fashioned together to make an engaging story and enchanting fantasy world.

Lakin, inspired by the story of The Enchanted Pig, wove in deep religious themes taken not only from the Bible, but also from such great writers such as C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, T.S. Elliot, William Wordsworth, and George MacDonald.
