Debut novel represents sweet blessings

Christine LindsaySince winning the 2009 ACFW Genesis Contest in the category of Historical Novel, Christine Lindsay has been on a divine journey she never could have imagined.

Not only will her debut novel, Shadowed in Silk, release May 1 from WhiteFire Publishing as an eBook (followed by the printed release on September 1), but the model on her book cover is her beautiful birth daughter whom Lindsay gave up for adoption when her daughter was three days old. They were reunited 20 years later, and Lindsay is thrilled to share this sweet moment of publishing her debut novel in a special way with her long-lost daughter.

Shadowed in Silk coverShadowed in Silk is a historical novel set after the Great War in British-occupied India. As Abby Fraser returns to India with her small son where her husband is stationed with the British Army, she discovers her husband has become a cruel stranger. Follow Abby’s journey as volatile political unrest, Russian spies, and sinister secrets suddenly plunge Abby out of the shadows and into the fires of revolution.
